Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the store management in daily operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail excellence. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store meets its operational goals.

Duties



Assist in the overall management of the store, including daily operations and staff supervision Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly Support recruiting efforts by interviewing and training new employees Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed Manage merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and sales performance Utilize POS systems for transactions and inventory management Collaborate on purchasing decisions to maintain optimal stock levels Lead team management initiatives to foster a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement Conduct regular pricing reviews to ensure competitiveness in the market Implement effective marketing strategies to promote store offerings Maintain organized administrative records including bookkeeping and budgeting tasks Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while promoting safety standards

Experience


The ideal candidate should possess:

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles Strong background in sales management with a focus on achieving targets Familiarity with cash handling, payroll processes, and administrative functions Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for enhancing customer interactions Proficiency in time management, organizational skills, and basic math for financial tasks Experience in training & development initiatives to support staff growth
