We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the store management in daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for retail excellence. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing staff, overseeing merchandising strategies, and maintaining a positive shopping environment.

Duties



Assist in supervising daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Support the recruitment process by interviewing and training new team members. Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate cash handling practices. Oversee merchandising efforts to maximize product visibility and sales. Utilize POS systems for transactions while ensuring accurate pricing and inventory management. Foster a customer-centric environment by providing outstanding service and addressing customer inquiries. Collaborate with the management team on budgeting and financial planning. Implement marketing strategies to promote sales initiatives within the store. Conduct regular staff meetings to enhance team communication and development. Maintain organized records of sales, inventory, and administrative tasks.

Experience


The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving sales targets. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers. Proficient in recruiting, training & development, and team management practices. Experience with budgeting, bookkeeping, and administrative responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills with strong time management capabilities. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems. Strong math skills for pricing accuracy and financial reporting. Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette, to interact professionally with customers and staff.
