We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to support our team in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Duties
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Manage inventory levels, including purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies.
Handle cash management tasks, including cash handling, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, resolve issues, and enhance the shopping experience.
Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to build a strong team.
Implement marketing strategies to drive sales and promote store initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions using POS systems.
Develop schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Monitor performance metrics and assist in budgeting processes to meet financial goals.
Skills
Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
Proficient in administrative tasks including time management, organizational skills, and math competencies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong phone etiquette.
Experience in training & development of team members to enhance their skills.
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting.
