Job Description

As an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, you play a vital role in our team. In fact, you are an important and key part of the success of our team. In this role, you will need to demonstrate your excellence by:

1. Bringing fun, learning, confidence and a great experience to customers shopping in our store

2. Oversee store operations, including:

A) delegation of work responsibilities and tasks to be accomplished and always ensure productivity

B) train new team members on expected work standards, the non-negotiable standards as well as the team values

C) perform opening and closing duties in conjunction with/or in the absence of management

D) Ensure the daily goals are met by motivating the team to reach and surpass those goals

E) Ensure the floor is filled with inventory to its fullest capacity at all times

This is a great growth opportunity for someone looking to expand his or her leadership skills in a part time role. We are seeking individuals with flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. This position will be for our Orleans, Ottawa location.

Responsibilities will include:



1. Providing the highest level of customer service and experience (Going above and beyond to help a customer find what they are looking for)

2. Being effective, efficient, respectful and knowledgeable about fashion

3. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store

4. Being a brand ambassador by promoting what we do, how we do it and why we do it

5. Helping to achieve buys and sales goals by assisting in the implementation of effective process strategies

6. Assisting in the implementation of strategies to achieve the store's sales and profit budgets

7. Overseeing requirements for buying of inventory from customers, adhering to the safety and health policies, requirements and laws.

8. Supervising the team and ensuring tasks and responsibilities are completed in a effective and efficient manner

9. Supporting the Store Manager / Owner in ensuring company standards are followed and respected in accordance with the employee manual and Non-Negotiable Standards.

10. Performing all other related duties as directed by the Store Manager/Owner
