We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team.
Experience with catering, food handling, Point of Sale systems is an asset, and preferred candidate will possess some or all of these skills.
You will support the daily operations, including catering functions, business functions, marketing and sales, bookkeeping and invoice/receipt tasks
The ideal candidate will possess experience in supervising catering functions, kitchen staffing, and office management.
MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZENSHIP.
Duties
Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Supervise catering and kitchen staff.
Train staff on company policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance performance.
Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and inventory management.
Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication and team management.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms for the business.
Maintain phone etiquette while handling customer calls and inquiries professionally.
Experience
Catering Experience preferred
Food handling capabilities an asset
Bookkeeping and Invoice/Receipt processing
Supervisory or management role is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
Experience in recruiting, training development, and team management is highly desirable.
Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
