We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of store conveni and fuel management.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a thriving team environment, oversee Daily and weekly balance of back office paperwork, deposits, stocking, ordering, cash shifts, exceptional customer service.

The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in driving store performance, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence.

Duties

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, staff management, Daily and weekly balance of paperwork Manage merchandising efforts, including stocking, working with vendors, orderin and all other related duties. Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping duties accurately and efficiently Recruit, train, and develop new staff members to ensure a skilled and motivated team Coordinate scheduling and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store functioning during shifts Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales, store management, or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership skills Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills Effective communication skills. Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team supervision Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, marketing, and sales management principles Ability to handle customer inquiries professionally. Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and vendor relations Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment High level of professionalism with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
