We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy culinary establishment. Duties
Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
Lead, motivate, and oversee kitchen staff, providing training and support to optimise performance
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control stock to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety
Implement standard operating procedures for food safety and hygiene compliance
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations
Assist in menu planning and development based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling staff shifts and maintaining records
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong management skills with previous supervising or leadership experience in a culinary environment
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Demonstrable expertise in culinary techniques and kitchen operations
Experience in hospitality management or restaurant management is highly desirable
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service and quality
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
Previous barista experience is considered an advantage but not essential
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
