We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards. Collaborate with chefs to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions and manage the POS system efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest concerns or feedback promptly. Assist in cooking and food preparation when necessary to support the team during busy periods.

Skills

Proficiency in POS systems for efficient order processing. Strong interviewing skills to recruit the best talent for the kitchen team. Extensive experience in restaurant management with a focus on operational efficiency. Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Exceptional customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Background in hospitality to foster a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patrons. Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure accurate financial transactions. Bartending experience is a plus to assist during events or busy service times.
