Assistant Guest Services Manager

Showcase your leadership and interpersonal strengths as an Assistant Guest Services Manager, where you will foster an engaged team, maximize operations and ensure exceptional guest service from the moment guests arrive!

What you will be doing:

  • Assist in leading and managing all aspects of the Guest Services department and ensure all service standards are followed
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas
  • Assist in conducting regularly scheduled departmental meetings
  • Manage the departmental expenses and budget when required
  • Manage and preventatively maintain hotel vehicle fleet
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspections
  • Ensure condition and cleanliness of vehicles at all times
  • Balance operational, administrative and colleague needs
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
  • Follow department policies, procedures and Forbes service standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
  • Previous department head experience required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline is an asset
  • Previous PMS experience required
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
