Guest Services Agent - Winter 2023/2024

You smile and warmly greet our guests as their first point of contact at resort; nothing is too much trouble for you. You prioritize guest experience and teamwork, and take pride in providing the best vacation and recreation experience possible.

You will:

\xc2\xb7 Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff.

\xc2\xb7 Print day tickets and season passes for guests.

\xc2\xb7 Process season pass requests online and in person, print and distribute passes.

\xc2\xb7 Handle cash including a daily float and debit and credit card transactions.

\xc2\xb7 Respond to inquiries in person, via email and phone.

\xc2\xb7 Promote and sell all products and experiences available at the resort.

\xc2\xb7 Address guest service related questions and concerns, escalating to the Guest Services Manager or Team Lead when appropriate.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure daily communication between various departments and within team as needed (Food & Beverage, Mountain Operations, etc.) to provide accurate and up to date information to guests about resort services and products.

\xc2\xb7 Assist with other duties as assigned.

You:

\xc2\xb7 Have previous professional work experience in a customer service role.

\xc2\xb7 Have previous cash handling experience.

\xc2\xb7 Are proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

\xc2\xb7 Are passionate about the mountain lifestyle and outdoors.

\xc2\xb7 Have previous experience in a mountain or resort setting - an asset.

\xc2\xb7 Are able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

\xc2\xb7 Are able to stand for extended periods of time.

\xc2\xb7 Are fully bilingual (French, German, etc.) - an asset.
