Position Summary
We're looking for an organized, outgoing, and dependable
Assistant Events Coordinator
to support the coordination and execution of golf and clubhouse events. This is a hands-on role that blends event planning, hospitality, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. Ideal for someone seeking flexible hours and hands-on management experience in the hospitality industry. Some remote work may be required, and the role can be paired with another part-time position.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing golf tournaments, weddings, group outings, leagues, banquets, and community events
Coordinate event logistics, including setup, check-ins, signage, decor, and day-of execution
Collaborate with golf operations, food & beverage staff, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth event flow
Provide exceptional day-of support--welcoming guests, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring service excellence
Help maintain accurate event records and support post-event follow-ups
Contribute to promoting upcoming events through signage, flyers, and social media (when applicable)
Qualifications
Experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or recreation preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and perform in fast-paced indoor/outdoor settings
Availability on weekends, evenings, and holidays is required
Familiarity with the JONAS POS system is an asset, but not mandatory
