Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Cake Decorator. This role is essential in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and cake decorating, along with experience in the food industry. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

Decorate cakes and other baked goods to meet customer specifications and company standards. Prepare food items according to recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in all products. Assist in the baking process, including mixing, measuring, and preparing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Package finished products for display or delivery, ensuring they are presented attractively. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely product delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cake decorating with a strong portfolio of previous work is preferred. Background in the restaurant or food industry is highly desirable. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Previous kitchen experience is an asset, particularly in baking or pastry arts. Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
