Battle River Lodge is a leading provider of Seniors Supportive Living in Wainwright, AB.
We are home to 98 residents and our office is conveniently located at the Lodge. We are seeking a candidate to fulfill the role of ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to
:
- attendance of Board meetings as Secretary and preparation of agenda packages, minutes
and correspondence
- maintain and update all policies and procedural manuals of the Foundation
- ensure Supportive Living Accommodation Standards are being met and documented
- human resources management including staff scheduling, supervision and evaluation
- liaison with homecare, residents & families regarding Lodge accommodation
- provide assistance and support to the Administrator and act on behalf in their absence
The qualifications of the successful candidate are:
- post secondary education in office administration &/or related experience in a supervisory
role
- strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Sage Software
- ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- previous experience in senior housing & completion of the Site Managers Certificate Program an asset
