Job Description

BMW London is currently looking for a person to cover a maternity leave of absence from December 2025 to January 2027. BMW London has been in the business of selling and servicing BMW luxury vehicles for over 50 years.

Summary:



The successful candidate will report to the Controller and will assist in the overall management and supervision of the accounting department. The successful candidate will also assist in the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the financial policies and procedures of BMW London/MINI London. Pay is annualized for a full-time position. The successful candidate will be paid based upon the number of days worked per week.

Responsibilities and Duties:



Functions will include, but not be limited to:

Conducts thorough reviews of all deal pouches focusing on the accurate entering of information into the PBS system, proper completion of documentation, and ensuring receipt of all applicable margins, rebates, incentives and customer fees/charges Ensures accounts receivables are received and processed in a timely and accurate manner Provides financial analysis as needed or requested by the Controller Reconciles bank statements on a monthly basis Prepares detailed commission sheets for sales representatives, business managers and sales managers based on recorded sales Manages the bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll in order to ensure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner Reviews applicable payroll reports Manages employee files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances Ensures new employees are properly documented and employee files are established and maintained Oversees administration of benefit entitlements and annual vacation records Assists controller as required in the preparation of month end and year end reports Ensures timely and accurate payment of all vehicle liens Has overall responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the company's overall technology systems and software Acts as the dealership's primary Human resource coordinator and information resource officer

Staffing Specifications:



College/University degree in accounting or business administration Minimum of 3 years related accounts receivable and/or general accounting experience Automotive Accounting experience would be an asset Knowledge of the PBS Data Management would also be an asset Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment Strong time management and attention to detail skills Positive attitude and demeanor Be honest and trustworthy Ability to maintain confidentiality Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
