Our dedication is reflected in our efforts to deliver non-regulated energy solutions that support a cleaner, reliable, and affordable energy future, while championing the safety, inclusivity and equity of our people, communities, and customers.We are seeking a top-tier professional with an ambitious spirit coupled with a strong business sense and customer service approach as an Asset Integrity Coordinator.Under the supervision and direction of Supervisor, Mechanical Integrity, the Asset Integrity Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Mechanical Integrity Programs (Pressure Equipment, Tank, Piping) within the ATCO EnPower facilities. One of the key responsibilities of the Asset Integrity Coordinator is to coordinate the key deliverables required by the Mechanical Integrity Program(s) and ensuring that these deliverables are executed and documented throughout the asset lifecycle. The Asset Integrity Coordinator supports the mechanical integrity of the ATCO EnPower assets under the scope of the ATCO Owner User programs. This role will also support the full mechanical equipment lifecycle (including purchases, fabrication, and rentals) to ensure they are compliant according to the relevant integrity program.This position requires frequent and regular travel to field offices and assets, many of which are considered remote.What You Get To Do:

  • Collaborate with operations personnel to achieve goals established in the Integrity Management Program(s)
  • Support the Chief Inspector in the implementation of the mechanical integrity programs with any/all initiatives as requested.
  • Support accident/incident/event reporting for EnPower equipment.
  • Support the development of policies as they pertain to mechanical equipment integrity, service, and inspection.
  • Coordinate the review of tenders, contracts, and orders for services related to:
  • installation of new or used mechanical equipment,
  • inspection of new or in-service equipment
  • repairs or alterations of pressure equipment
  • NDE and Destructive Examinations as well as safety valve servicing.
  • Support and document the completion of spot audits on contractors and field service providers to ensure they are compliant to company standards and government regulations.
  • Ensure all contractors supplying services on pressure equipment have the required competency, permits and approvals. Record competencies if/when required.
  • Coordinate all regulatory inspections and ensure that they are scheduled and completed within the approved timelines and intervals.
  • Coordinate the inspection report review and assessment process, and ensure that all reports are complete, signed and uploaded to CMMS as required.
  • Support mechanical equipment nonconformance reporting and lead discussion(s) on mitigation strategies and timing.
  • Support the monthly/quarterly reviews of mechanical integrity programs (including KPI reporting)
  • Complete annual ESR Updates
  • Support other Business Units within ATCO and encourage compliance and cooperation.
  • Support the technical lead and SME for all Integrity Program and Equipment Audits. Prepare and document audit findings, participate in finding mitigation& support the safe and compliant return to service.
  • Review and populate corporate risk register entries. Escalate risks to the Supervisor, Mechanical Integrity when immediate or significant action is required to mitigate.
  • Support the consistent application and optimization of pressure equipment maintenance strategies.
  • Support and track incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Support and track NCR, CAR and PAR reporting and mitigation.
  • Work with engineering and NDE contractors to ensure that new technologies are endorsed and engaged that are relevant to our fleet damage mechanisms.
  • Actively promote health and safety initiatives throughout daily activities.
  • Participate in and contribute actively to safety meetings and/or corporate emergency response planning exercises.
  • Report and investigate incidents to mitigate the potential for future incidents through the identification and elimination of root cause elements.
  • Actively participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee, and/or stress and burnout management initiatives at EnPower.
  • Ensure all contractors have and apply health, safety, and environmental programs acceptable to ATCO while meeting all legal and permit requirements.
  • Inform, educate, and monitor contractors and individuals in all work areas where hazards and risk exposures are present. Promote an inclusive and safe work culture for all employees and contractors.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present critical information to field operations and company management in a simple and concise manner.
  • Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible and steadfast.
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety and regulatory requirements
  • Constantly improving technical skills and knowledge through attendance at training, courses, industry meetings, and workshops.
Who You Are:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field is required.
  • A college diploma is an asset.
  • The successful candidate will have good technical aptitude and exposure to various aspects of the oil and gas industry. Certifications such as CET, supplemented by ABSA ISI, API 510, 570 and/or 653, or other technical training would be an asset to the position.
  • The individual must be a well-organized proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently, take initiative and function with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, planning, and organizing abilities coupled with a strong attention to detail.
