This role is about supporting operational areas with asset risk identification, risk assessment and action development leading to Business risk profile reduction in line with the Operational Excellence/Asset Management (AM) standard and Asset Integrity Assessment process.This role is a great opportunity for an accomplished Engineer with experience in Operations & Asset management. Participate in the implementation of IOC\'s asset related risk management initiatives across the overall value chain and collaborate with all stakeholders
Lead or assist asset risk assessments utilizing appropriate approach and frameworks
Assist in the execution of risk-based audit planning and individual project scoping
Develop asset integrity strategies for aging assets and critical infrastructure
Support the Asset Integrity Assessment program and provide sitewide support
Develop long term program (5 years plan) for major remediation works
Assess and challenge the suitability of current equipment management strategies and having maintenance strategies modified and changed where necessary
Develop initial project scopes for Asset integrity driven projects to support the acquisition of funding approvals; including preparation of business case(s) and presentations
What you\'ll bring
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Registered as a Professional Engineer (PEng.)
Experience in a similar position within the Oil and Gas, Mining or other relevant industries
Experience in risk assessment, process safety and functional safety
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, designs and make necessary recommendations
Experience in applying Asset Management strategies specific to Structural Asset Integrity and Assurance
A Senior level Engineer (7-10 years\' of experience is preferred)
