Protecting our people, community and our operations is our top priority.Location:Calgary AlbertaSchedule:5/2 Regular (40 hours a week)Contract Term:6 months possible extension2 days from office, 3 days remoteTo succeed with us in the Contracting and Procurement Department, we need your ability and enthusiasm to:Manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment Influence and collaborate with world class contractors Seamlessly interface with Operations and Maintenance teams Be self-motivated and a high performerDevelop strong internal relationships with stakeholder/ customersCreate a top quartile Asset Contracting and Procurement organisationYou will use your expertise to:Deliver the challenging targets of material and equipment availability before startup of the Asset.Work with planning teams to understand demand and procure spare parts for the asset operations teamDevelop strategies to procure spare parts based on best value to the client.Work in close collaboration with the Commissioning and Startup (CSU) team to ensure the correct material is available during the CSU.Partcipate in planning, and procure materials related to turnaround or shut down eventsGain an in-depth understanding the client material demand, as well as local/regional market conditions and price levers.Develop strategies, tactics, and contracts in accordance with the Contracting and Procurement Procedures Manual including all governance requirements.Ensure Contracting and Procurement process, procedures, systems, and tools are maintained, and upgrades aligned to JVP requirements (particularly meeting JV agreement requirements to adopt Shell process, procedures, and systems).Develop and share best practices, work processes, systems, and tools, based on experience gained in a portfolio of independent Assets.Must be experienced and proficient in SAP MM module for purchasing related activities.To be successful, you will have:An experienced CP professional, capable of integrating across all contracting roles and interface with a future Asset organization.Strong preference for an individual that has excellent relationship skills, personnel leadership qualities and has experience working in an Asset.Ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability, and competence in the following commercial, technical, and interpersonal aspects: Minimum of 5 years Contracting and Procurement experience in Oil and Gas or heavy industrial settings that utilize technical equipment.Demonstrated Asset Contracting and Procurement experience.Mujst be experienced in operational contracting with demonstrated ability of managing discussions on Terms and Conditions with contractors / suppliers and LNGC Legal.Understanding and application of contracting and procurement processes and tools.
