Job Description

Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Senior Accountant who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This role is with a company in the Healthcare industry. The Financial Analyst role is a long-term contract. To succeed in this Senior Accountant position, you will need to be comfortable with conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. Among the Senior Accountant other duties will be advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management.

Key responsibilities

\xc3\x98 Prepare and post month-end journal entries, prepare monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, including prepaid and amount due to/from

- This position would best fit a flexible individual who has experience managing expectations and feels comfortable working with a large amount of information

- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

-\xc3\x98 Liaise with insurance company to obtain certificates of insurance as per request from various departments and programs

\xc3\x98 Assists in preparation of detailed cost summary for insurance claims submission

\xc3\x98 Prepare and submit after review, insurance declarations for various insurance policies

\xc3\x98 Processing and validating all new account funds

\xc3\x98 Log and deliver requests to Accounts Payable for processing

\xc3\x98 Monitor and investigate/follow-up on funds in deficit and any other fund related matters

\xc3\x98 Investigate unusual/disputed transactions

\xc3\x98 Currently pursuing CPA Designation preferred

\xc3\x98 Minimum 2-3 years in a junior accounting role in a large organization or public sector organisation.

\xc3\x98 Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong customer centric approach

\xc3\x98 Attention to detail
