Job Summary: - The Assembly operator provides hands-on manual labor to disassemble and reassemble oil and gas equipment as directed. Job Qualification and Skills: - High school diploma/GED preferred - 1 year experience in electromechanical manufacturing related to oil field equipment repairs and new build assembly would be an asset. - Must have experience with hand and power tools - Good mechanical aptitude and good dexterity - Strong work ethic and organizational skills - Ability to read assembly document and schematics, also verify the parts prior to assembly - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted - Able to work on feet for extend periods of time - Able to work overtime with short notice - Able to work in a fast pace environment - Must be able to supply own basic hand tools (list to be provided) - Basic computer knowledge - Soldering knowledge would be an asset - 100% commitment to providing and upholding a safe work environment and be aware and respectful of warehouse safety standards, rules and regulations Responsibilities and duties: - Clean incoming equipment from field using pressure washer, sand blaster and sink - Disassemble and re-assemble equipment - Prepare parts for sub assembly - Track job time to ensure on time completion - Perform in process quality checks - Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards - Daily miscellaneous cleanup of building and site - Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $18.00-$21.50 per hour Benefits:
