Overview:

Wallace Perimeter Security is looking for a skilled Gate Assembly Technician to join our team. As an

Assembly Technician

, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating various components and products. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical and some basic electrical knowledge, as well as proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.

Duties:

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Assemble components and products according to specifications Use power tools and hand tools to perform assembly tasks Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet standards Perform low voltage electrical wiring and connect components Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience and skills:

Previous experience in assembly or a related field is preferred Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools Able to work with metal and wood Familiarity with low voltage electrical wiring and schematics Mechanically inclined Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Must be organized, flexible, proactive and respectful in the interactions with co-workers Good physical condition with the ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
