Job Scope

This role will be responsible for all assembly/disassembly of equipment, cleaning and maintaining the shop, as well as, assisting with the inventory of various product lines on the shop floor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Required to assemble and disassemble tools/equipment from Opla\xe2\x80\x99s product line: this is a big part of the job, and your contributions would not go un-noticed, experience with this is preferred.
  • Responsible for inventory of all materials on the shop floor with proper documentation: if you have great attention to detail, like working with a talented team and enjoy the accomplishment of accuracy, this is the right place for you.
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks in a safe and efficient manner: do you like physical work, and enjoy getting your hands dirty?
  • Required to continually maintain a clean and organized facility, including its components and equipment: do you like to know where things are, do you want a clean and safe place to work, then this would be easy for you!
  • Follow all Opla policies and procedures, complete the required safety training provided and work safely: are you mindful of your safety at home then this will be an easy one to follow at work!
  • Other duties as required: Assist with shipping and, receiving of items, when needed, responsible for conducting and documenting the shop health and safety meetings, and work permits as needed.
  • On-call as required: if helping at times, when needed, comes naturally to you this might be the right fit!
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Mechanical abilities/capabilities are a must.
  • Previous experience and training in loader and forklift operation is preferred.
  • High-school diploma is preferred.

  • Must have enhanced critical thinking skills and be a self-starter.
  • Dependable and reliable with attendance.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work well within a collaborative team.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced and highly energetic environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to consistently lift 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high.
  • Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.
  • Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and demonstrate good manual dexterity.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (word documents, spreadsheets and daily communication).
  • Candidates must always conduct themselves in a friendly and professional manner.
