Assembler - General

to join our Production team at Garaventa Lift at Surrey, BC. This is 100% on-site position.

Position Summary




The General Assembler will be responsible for all mechanical/electrical Sub - assembly options as per Garaventa drawings, Schematics, work instruction and Bills of material. (Full training will be provided)

Shift Timings

:


Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm with occasional overtime

Essential Duties and Requirements



Perform all required mechanical and electrical sub-assembly options Track all work completed as required Monitor all required inventory levels Maintain all required documentation including applicable "Quality Work Instructions" and "Inspection Procedures" Complete Machine and/or tool maintenance records daily/weekly/monthly as required. Use ESD protective measures where required

Mindset, Skills & Education



Energetic, eager, tenacious. Basic mechanical/electrical knowledge / theory Work well in a team-oriented environment. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with no hesitation in speaking. Capability to work extended hours or overtime when required, including at short notice. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and think outside the box to find solutions. Physically capable of performing tasks involving lifting and moving materials (Need to lift 50lbs, 5~10 times per day) Must be detail oriented and a self-starter A strong work ethic, honesty, and a proactive attitude.
