O'Hanlon Paving is looking for an enthusiastic,

EXPERIENCED

Asphalt Finish Roller & Wobbly Operator to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton.

Responsibilities:

Safe operation of heavy roller & wobbly Determines speed and direction of machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material Work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience

with roller operation Through knowledge of the safe operation of roller and municipal road building industry Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license (Class 3 preferred) or above with a clean drivers abstract High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions Ability to work in varying weather conditions Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with little supervision Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends Valid safety certifications

Additional Information:

This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year This position is eligible for over-time Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required Training will be provided for various activities We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off season). Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season.
