Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and paving, contributing to various construction projects. This role is essential for ensuring the quality and durability of asphalt surfaces, working collaboratively with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers, and graders to lay asphalt for roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. Prepare and clean the work area by removing debris and ensuring proper site conditions before paving begins. Assist in mixing asphalt materials according to specifications for optimal performance. Monitor the quality of asphalt during application to ensure adherence to project standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely, following all safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with paving machinery. Background in construction or related fields is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to asphalt paving and construction processes.
