Desired Contract Length: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Work Location: Downtown Office JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Artistic Producer, Festival Coordinator and Artistic Associate with all matters related to the management companies and other artists who are engaged to appear at the Children\xe2\x80\x99s Festival. RESPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Plan and execute travel itineraries and schedule artists for their various activities. \xc2\xb7 Design and implement the schedule of artists including travel itineraries, hotel accommodation, sound checks, and in town travel requirements. \xc2\xb7 Provide artists with safe and efficient transportation. \xc2\xb7 Manage artist\xe2\x80\x99s riders, on-site green room, including hospitality presentation and clean-up. \xc2\xb7 Set up and maintain the Hospitality and/or Dressing rooms. \xc2\xb7 Develop, prepare, and distribute artist welcome packets and festival identification badges. \xc2\xb7 Support management team with other related duties as they develop. \xc2\xb7 Update and maintain various databases. \xc2\xb7 All other related duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Must have training or previous experience in marketing, public relations and/or special events. \xc2\xb7 Must possess strong written and verbal skills. College or University degree is an asset. \xc2\xb7 Must be able to meet deadlines, be a team player, and perform under pressure. \xc2\xb7 Must be computer literate. Additional Qualifications Required: Eligible to participate in Ontario\xe2\x80\x99s Job Creation Partnership (JCP) program by meeting the following criteria: 1. An unemployed job seeker or those employed less than 20 hours per week (part-time students and graduates may apply) 2. Live in Ontario 3. Legally authorized to work in Canada 4. Have one, or both, of the following criteria: a. Established an Employment Insurance (EI) benefit claim (regular or maternity/parental benefits ONLY) b. Paid employee payroll premiums, i.e., employed in Canada, in fiveof any five of the last ten years while earning an annual income of at least $2000 (gross). Remuneration: $620 (gross) per week for 32 hours ($19.375 average per hour) provided by the Province of Ontario. Job Type: Fixed term contract
