We are seeking Art Instructors to cover various evening classes for the upcoming Winter session which begins January 5th, 2026.
Ignite creativity and inspire artistic expression as a part time Art Instructor dedicated to nurturing the talents of learners across diverse age groups and skill levels, by instructing one or more of these classes:
Art Therapy (Adult) - Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 pm
Cartooning (ages 8-12)- Wednesday 5:30-6:30 pm
Adult Drawing - Wednesday 6:30-8:00 pm
Mini Imagineers (ages 5-7) - Thursday 4:30-5:30 pm
Imagineering Club (ages 8-12) - Thursdays 5:30-6:30 pm
Teen Paint (ages 13-17) - Thursday 6:30-7:30 pm
Adult Water Color - Thursdays 7:30-9:00 pm
In this dynamic role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a vibrant classroom environment, and guide students through various artistic mediums. Your passion for art and education will empower students to explore their imagination, develop technical skills, and build confidence in their creative abilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while honing your teaching expertise in a lively, supportive setting.
Develop and deliver comprehensive art lessons that cater to different skill levels and learning styles, ensuring an engaging and inclusive classroom experience
Create a stimulating environment that encourages experimentation, self-expression, and artistic growth among students
Provide constructive feedback to motivate students and help them improve their techniques and conceptual understanding
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curricula, integrate new art trends, and enhance program offerings
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Education with an art specialization, or a related field; is highly valued
Proven experience teaching art in educational settings or community programs
Strong knowledge of various artistic techniques, mediums, and contemporary art trends
Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate learners of all ages
Creative mindset with the ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs
Passionate about fostering creativity and encouraging self-expression through art
Ability to maintain a positive, energetic classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and exploration
