CLAP Studio \xe2\x80\x93 \xe2\x80\x98Create Learn and Play\xe2\x80\x99 is a fun art studio
space in Toronto for children and adults to create and explore
freely through different mediums of art. Our Mission: To provide a fun-filled environment where we\xe2\x80\xa6 nurture the freedom to explore and express creativity without fear
help develop positive character traits for future success in all
aspects of life
encourage ownership and commitment
celebrate effort, individuality and build confidence Qualifications:

  • A passion for teaching ages 6 months-99 years old
  • A strong love for arts and creativity
  • Creative Problem Solving Skills
  • Familiarity with STEAM projects
  • Minimum 3 years of art instructing experience
  • A post-secondary degree in education or comparable professional experiences (Ontario Teaching Certification is an asset, ECE is an asset)
  • Previous experience working with young students
  • Strong at high school level of Science, Technology and Math
  • Excellent classroom and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multilingual preferred
  • Able to lift up to 30kg

Schedule:
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Mask wearing encouraged in the building (aged 2 and up), staff are required to wear masks, hourly sanitizing of high-touch points and areas, classrooms are sanitized before and after each class, temperature screening Education:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
  • teaching: 3 years (required)
Work Location: One location
