Studio course introducing the material of clay within the context of contemporary ceramics practices. Students will learn basic making techniques, focusing on hand-building and will also be exposed to the potter's wheel, glazing, kiln loading and firing.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate must possess an MA/MFA or BA/BFA in Ceramics or closely related visual arts field, evidence of a contemporary Ceramics practice, and an active record of dissemination in Ceramics. University teaching experience is preferred.
