Position Overview
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Western Ontario will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market share across our three core product lines: Sensors, Controls, and Switching. This is a high-impact role suited for a results-driven professional with a passion for developing new business, exceeding targets, and influencing key vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth in the territory by identifying, developing, and closing new opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end-users.
Define quarterly objectives and long-term growth strategies.
Stay ahead of industry and competitive trends to position Carlo Gavazzi as a preferred partner.
Represent Carlo Gavazzi at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications
Direct selling experience in the automation or industrial equipment industry (required).
Strong technical knowledge with the ability to specify automation products.
Proven skills in sales presentations, new business development, and relationship building.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strategic planning and forecasting experience at the local/territory level.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote territory.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a College Diploma in Electrical Technology (CET) is required.
