Phase One Design is seeking an experienced

Architectural Technologist / Project Lead

who is passionate about designing and delivering high-end custom homes and boutique multi-family projects.
You'll manage projects from concept to construction, lead client communication, and ensure every detail of our drawings and documentation meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple residential projects from concept through construction, ensuring excellence at every phase. Act as the primary liaison for clients, builders, consultants, and city staff. Coordinate and oversee detailed construction drawings in Revit, ensuring accuracy, buildability, and compliance. Prepare and submit Development Permit and Building Permit packages in accordance with local zoning bylaws and the Alberta Building Code. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Mentor junior team members and review drawings for technical quality. Collaborate with design directors to translate creative ideas into fully realized, buildable designs.

Qualifications

7+ years of residential architecture or design technology experience. Advanced Revit skills (required) - capable of producing full, detailed construction document sets independently. Strong knowledge of zoning regulations, building codes, and municipal permitting processes (Calgary experience preferred). Proven ability to coordinate consultants, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain exceptional quality control. Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset. A proactive, organized professional who values craftsmanship and precision.
