We create high-value, premium rental properties from the ground up and control every step of the process. This rigorous attention to detail is integral to our success. We are looking for a talented, Architectural Project Coordinator to become part of our in-house Design & Engineering team. The in-house Design & Engineering team works in close cooperation with our professional consultants (architects and engineers) to design and supervise the execution of our new buildings. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the architectural design team in the development of new buildings.
  • Work with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Lead the creation of architectural marketing plans.
  • Attend project meetings, take minutes and distribute them to the team.
  • Maintain architectural specifications up to date.
  • Coordinate and follow up with external consultants on tasks to be completed.
  • Work closely with the architect and other consultants as required.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure design questions and issues are dealt with in real-time.
  • Other administrative duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Technical Diploma in Architecture.
  • 5+ years experience as an Architectural Technologist in an architecture or construction-based firm.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Basic knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
  • Exceptional project coordination skills and ability to solve problems.
  • Accuracy and great attention to detail with good drafting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage time effectively with excellent organization skills.
  • Strong English written and spoken skills are essential; French is an asset.
