As the

Architectural Design Technician

, you will be the key liaison between clients, design teams, and external consultants, ensuring that each project reflects the client's vision while upholding the firm's design excellence. Your focus will be on

managing architectural and interior design phases

, including planning, visualization, budgeting, and regulatory approvals. This role requires a high level of design sensitivity, project leadership, and client communication.

Duties



Serve as the primary point of contact for high-net-worth clients, ensuring their expectations and vision are understood and realized. Develop and manage comprehensive

architectural and interior design project plans

, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate closely with internal design teams to produce and refine

3D renders, mood boards, and architectural drawings

. Lead all phases of design development -- from concept ideation through final interior selections and installation coordination. Conduct cost estimations and value engineering while preserving luxury quality and design integrity. Source, negotiate, and coordinate with premium vendors and suppliers of architectural materials and interior furnishings. Manage permitting and approvals process, ensuring full compliance with local building codes and zoning regulations. Maintain meticulous project documentation, including design revisions, budget updates, and all client communications. Oversee procurement and delivery of materials and finishes, ensuring only high-quality, design-appropriate products are used.

Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture. 5+ years of experience in architectural project management, preferably in high-end residential or boutique commercial design. Strong knowledge of architecture and interior design principles, standards, and materials. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion). Exceptional communication and client management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and high aesthetic demands. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and design regulations.

Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour
