Centura Tile was established in 1929 and is 100% Canadian owned, with 13 branches across Canada. We are one of the largest flooring distributors in Canada carrying a wide variety of floor and wall tile, vinyl plank, laminate, carpet tile as well as tools and sundry products.

Potential candidate MUST reside on Vancouver Island ideally in the Victoria area

We're growing again! We are expanding our architect and design specification team! Centura Tile is looking for a high energy, design focused individual in the role of Architect + Design Sales Representative. This position would be completely hybrid working from a home office and must reside on Vancouver Island ideally in the Victoria area and will be responsible for all of Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast.

The ideal candidate has a background in interior design, within the flooring industry is a bonus!

:

Maintain and expand relationships within the Architect and Design community on Vancouver Island + Sunshine Coast

Work closely on projects with our Dealer & Contractor Representative who also resides on Vancouver Island as well as our Special Projects & Key Account Manager

Promote and present Centura's product range to architects and designers and increase specifications

Deliver samples and update product libraries

Job tracking and follow up with clients using our CRM software.

Understand installation and use of all products to educate clients

Provide design advice based on client needs and application

Requirements:

Certificate/Diploma in Interior Design, or relevant design experience

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations

Upbeat, self-motivated people person

Outstanding communication and customer service

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for client follow ups

Must be proficient in CRM/Microsoft/Basic Mathematics

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Salary Range: Competitive Salary based on experience + Commission + Vehicle Allowance
