a+LiNK Architecture Inc. is a London, Ontario based architectural firm established in 1998 providing design services for the institutional, corporate, community-based, and heritage sectors. We are located in downtown London and serve southwestern Ontario. We are a growing firm, now seeking an enthusiastic individual, Intern or recently Registered Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to learn, participate and contribute in all aspects of a growing architectural practice. An interest in heritage architecture is welcome, but is not mandatory. Preference for an entrepreneurial candidate who is seeking a future opportunity for partnership / ownership of a well-established architectural practice. Qualifications include:

• Graduate of a Canadian accredited school of Architecture and/or registered as an Intern, and/or completed Intern with the Ontario Association of Architects
• Graduate of a Heritage / Conservation Architecture program is an asset
• Minimum 3-5 years\' work experience in an architectural or design firm, in Canada
• Strong technical skills and problem solving abilities
• High proficiency in AutoCAD software, working knowledge in SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluency in English
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
• Strong design sensibility accompanied with excellent written/oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Desire to be collaborative as part of our team

Duties include:

• Concept and presentation drawings
• Ability to prepare architectural drawings sets and specifications at various stages of the project
• Coordination of documents with other disciplines including engineers and consultants
• Provide contract administration duties for projects in construction
• Ability to develop and meet targeted deadlines and schedules
• Participate in professional development to maintain registration and/or engage in continued education
