Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architect & Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. This role involves creating innovative architectural and interior design solutions, managing projects from concept to completion, and collaborating with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for aesthetics, and expertise in various design software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects including renovations, remodeling, lighting design, and construction management.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive architectural and interior design concepts aligned with client needs and project goals. Create detailed drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. Prepare construction documents, specifications, and contract documentation ensuring compliance with building codes and standards. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively through project management best practices. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, provide expert guidance on color theory, lighting sales, renovation strategies, and remodeling options. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and vendors during the construction phase to ensure design integrity and quality control. Conduct site visits to oversee construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Present design proposals clearly through visual presentations utilizing Adobe Photoshop and 3ds Max or similar visualization tools. Stay current with industry trends in CAD drafting, lighting design, interior design innovations, and sustainable practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Architect & Interior Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse projects including renovation and remodeling. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), Drafting skills, and CAD software. Solid understanding of project management principles along with experience in contracts, budgeting, sales, lighting sales, and construction processes. Knowledge of color theory, lighting design principles, interior design concepts, and remodeling techniques. Excellent communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with experience in contracts negotiation and project budgeting. A degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution is preferred; professional licensure is a plus.
