Job Description

We're seeking a personable and detail-oriented leader to manage and enhance our aquatics programs, including swim lessons, water fitness, and recreational swimming. You'll develop and oversee programs, evaluate effectiveness through feedback and participation, and continuously improve the member experience. You'll lead and mentor a team focused on service excellence, manage daily operations, and oversee camps and special events.



You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing budgets, and ensuring all staff are certified and scheduled. With excellent customer service skills, you'll address member inquiries and concerns professionally while fostering a positive, motivating work environment.

You have the technical knowledge:

You have certifications and/or experience to prove your technical knowledge in aquatics.

As an Aquatics Supervisor a typical day might include the following:




Responding to member inquiries professionally and in a timely fashion Creating staff schedules Daily check-ins with the Supervisors and the General Managers to ensure all programs and promotions (in-house and outreach) are tracking positively. Assisting with the delivery of aquatics activities Ensuring each department is clean, tidy, and sanitized and all relevant facility safety checks are completed. Organize and plan creative, engaging age appropriate aquatics activities and lessons Effectively manage the inventory and ordering processes within the department

To land this role you need to have;




Post-secondary relating to early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or special education and additional certifications considered an asset Experience working with children from six weeks old to 12 years old is required Current CPR/First Aid certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment employer covered cost*
A recent Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector) prior to commencement of training and/or work.
