Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable mobile crane apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be expected to operate a tractor trailer unit hauling counterweights to and from jobsites. Assist with the assembly of cranes. Seat time will be available on occasion to the right candidate with an opportunity to excel within the company.

Duties

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records for HOS compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, and maintenance department. Assist with rigging and securing loads to prevent damage during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Requirements

Valid class 1 drivers license with ELD experience. Experience in construction or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, or boom trucks is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles as needed. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week
