Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Business Developer / Salesperson with a Mobile Crane Operator's ticket. This Hybrid role requires a strongly motivated professional who can drive sales growth while contributing to the bottom line by operating our mobiles cranes when needed. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Crane Operation Duties:

Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition. Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy material safely and precisely. Interpret load charts, rigging plans and site layouts. Collaborate with site personnel to ensure safe lifting operations. Adhere to all safety regulation, company policies and industry standards.

Business Development / Sales Duties:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current clients, contractors and site managers. Prepare and present proposals and equipment recommendations. Measure and plans lifts accordingly to customer specifications. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.

Experience

& Qualifications

Mobile Crane Operator Certification. Experience in various crane types (boom trucks, truck mounts & all terrain cranes) Valid Class 1 Driver's License with Clean Driving Record Familiarity with the local construction industry in Calgary and surrounding area. Proven experience in sales, preferably in construction or equipment rental. Excellent communication, negotiation and customers service skills. Ability to work independently, unsupervised and manage multiple tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $41.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
