Job Overview

Bow City Crane seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator with a Class 1 License to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating cranes ranging from 35 Ton - 175 Ton to lift, move, and position materials at construction sites or industrial facilities, to hoist units, steel and many other items as well as hauling counterweights and units in our Tractor Trailers. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities and Duties

Will be responsible for operating all cranes in our fleet ranging from 35 Ton - 175 Ton, as well as driving counterweight trucks.

A good percentage of our work is within and surrounding Calgary city limits, however there is the possibility of short term out of town work and occasional weekend & evening work.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have a valid Class 1 License with a clean Driver's Abstract

Must be a registered and active Journeyman or Apprentice with Alberta Apprenticeship Board. Steel Erection is a definite asset Must have minimum 2 years mobile crane experience Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening Must be able to work & think independently & be a great problem solver with minimal supervision

Must live in the Calgary vicinity and have good knowledge of the city

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $35.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
