Apprentice Electrician

Job Description
We are looking for Apprentice Electricians with maintenance and construction experience on a full time, permanent basis for our Grande Prairie Shop.
Candidates local to the Grande Prairie, AB area only will be given preference at this time however we welcome all applicants if you are willing to relocate.
What would you be doing?
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide wiring layouts.
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures.
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors.
- Position, support and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker, fiber optic cables, panels, and fuse enclosures.
- Install, replace, support and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment.
- Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety.
- Journeyperson Electrician Certificate or Apprentice Electrician card
- 1 or more years' experience working on Turnaround
- Ability to read and understand complex instructions
- Aerial Work Platform
- Standard First Aid
- H2S Alive
- Competitive Pay rate
- Benefits after 300 hours of work
- Home every night (Monday-Friday)
- No weekends
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
