Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in interpreting blueprints and specifications Support material take-offs and preparation for installations Participate in the construction of electrical control panels, and assist with wiring and device installation Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and building systems Work under the guidance of journeyperson electricians and contribute to on-site tasks Maintain detailed records of work performed Keep up-to-date with evolving technology and safety procedures Follow all safety policies and procedures, including those outlined by Alberta OH&S
Qualifications & Skills:

Registered Apprentice Electrician (or intent to register) in Alberta Strong interest in building automation and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints (or eagerness to learn) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, organized, and eager to take initiative Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Physically fit - able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation required Willingness to work some out-of-town jobs and occasional overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
