Apprentice Electrician - Residential

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable

Apprentice Electrician

to join our growing residential electrical team. This entry-level opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working alongside licensed and experienced electricians in real-world residential settings.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in homes, helping ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction on every project.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of residential electrical wiring, fixtures, devices, and equipment in compliance with local codes and project specifications. Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in homes while prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to understand project scope and requirements. Gain experience working with low-voltage systems as needed in residential applications. Maintain an organized, clean job site and ensure tools and materials are properly cared for. Work collaboratively with electricians and other team members to deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.

Qualifications:

Basic understanding of electrical systems and components preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and grow within the trade. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety on every job site. Physically able to lift, carry, and perform tasks in various residential environments. A valid driver's license is required to travel between job sites around Vancouver.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
