Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for2nd year to 4th year individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Duties

Assist in the installation of electrical systems and components according to specifications and safety standards. Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand wiring layouts. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Participate in the maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently. Collaborate with senior electricians to build and install low voltage systems as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology. Familiarity with industrial electrical systems is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read blueprints and schematics for electrical installations. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
