Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical projects, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in electrical work.

Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Help with the installation of low voltage systems, including wiring and fixtures. Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to electrical systems. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work. Basic knowledge of low voltage systems is preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field of industrial electricity.

Pay: Up to $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
