Shredder Electric is looking for a motivated 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice to join our team and work directly alongside a Master Electrician with over 15 years of experience. This is a great opportunity for hands-on learning and mentorship in both residential and commercial electrical systems!

What You'll Do:

Assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and the Canadian Electrical Code. Use hand and power tools to install wiring, conduits, and fixtures. Support troubleshooting under the guidance of an experienced electrician. Ensure all work follows safety protocols and regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Basic knowledge of electricity, circuitry, and power systems. Competence with hand and power tools. Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and from heights. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills. A valid Class 5 driver's license, clean driver's abstract, and reliable transportation.

What We Offer:

Mentorship from a Master Electrician with 15+ years of experience. Competitive pay starting at $18.25 -24 per hour depending on experience with growth opportunities. Real-world experience in both residential and commercial work.

Schedule:

Full-time, 40+ hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends as needed).

Requirements:

Attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to stand, bend, crawl, lift, climb, and reach. Safety gear (boots, coveralls, hardhat, gloves) and a cell phone. Clean driver's abstract and your own vehicle for commuting.
