Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 2nd or 3rd level Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting with various electrical tasks and learning essential skills necessary for a successful career in electrical work.

Duties

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Support the team in troubleshooting low voltage systems and identifying electrical issues. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of electrical concepts, including low voltage systems. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work. Must have own hand tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Willingness to learn from experienced professionals in multiple settings. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to develop skills within the electrical trade. Must have commercial and residential experience. Must have a drivers license.

Pay: $17.38-$42.88 per hour
