Apprentice Electrician Job Summary

We are hiring Apprentice Electricians ( 2nd or 3rd,) residing in or near Edmonton for commercial electrical work.

You should be willing to learn and develop your skills. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment. Seletech offers excellent wages and benefits.

Job Duties

Work as part of a team to complete commercial electrical installations.

Installation of conduit, wiring and supports for electrical equipment.

Install, replace, and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, control systems, fire alarm, etc.

Execute work safely.

Display adaptability through learning new skills and navigating unfamiliar scenarios.

Apprentices must provide their own hand tools.

Required Job Skills & Qualifications

High School Graduate with strong mathematics aptitude and/or Indentured Electrical Apprentice in the Province of Alberta.

Must have a flexible work schedule.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Skills and Previous Experience Considered an Asset

Valid certifications such as Standard First Aid, CSTS, Areal Work Platform and Fall Protection are required.

Experience installing conduit.

Interpreting and reading blueprints and electrical drawings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.75-$31.60 per hour
