interested in working as an Applications & Process Engineering Intern on challenging projects, within a
global process, water and wastewater treatment organization?

What will I be doing as an Applications & Process Engineering Intern?
The Applications & Process Engineering internship will be a rotational program in which eight months
are spent with the Process Engineering team followed by eight months with the Applications
Engineering team.

While with the Process Engineering team, you will support the team with water and wastewater process
design and technical writing tasks such as developing process design documentation, tools, and
procedures and analyzing performance data to generate customer facing reports. You will work closely
with technical experts in plant design to refine our internal design tools and procedures.
During the Application Engineering rotation you will be responsible for supporting the Application
Engineers with the development of a winning and executable solution, throughout the sales cycle, from
lead qualification to contract signature and project handover.

Specific responsibilities will include:

\xef\x82\xb7 Working in partnership with an Application Engineer, Process Engineer and the Sales Manager to
develop the bid strategy
\xef\x82\xb7 Help create process designs and documents for water and wastewater treatment systems.
\xef\x82\xb7 Circulating specifications and customer supplied documentation to other functions (engineering,
sourcing, quality, document control, etc.) for review and comment and consolidating their
comments, clarifications and exceptions as needed
\xef\x82\xb7 Working with the Application Engineer and the Process Engineering Team to understand,
support and finalize the design of various flowsheet processes to solve water treatment
problems for our Customers ensuring alignment with the bid strategy
\xef\x82\xb7 Support the development of PFDs, P&IDs, Flow Balances and any other drawings/documents
needed to complete the proposal submission, and provide detailed process designs to execution
teams engaging any support teams required
\xef\x82\xb7 Support the development of required proposal sections and any other supporting
documentation requested by the Lead Application Engineer and/or Sales Person
\xef\x82\xb7 Assisting other members of the Application Engineering and Process Engineering team with
document publishing/formatting as needed

\xef\x82\xb7 Contribute to the development of company standards and templates.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop performance test procedures, analyze collected results and prepare customer facing
detailed reports.
\xef\x82\xb7 Support with project issue resolution related to design, start-up and performance.

What are the requirements?
Aside from excellent organizational and time management skills, you will also need:
\xef\x82\xb7 To be enrolled in an accredited engineering program with a minimum of 3 year completed
toward a Bachelor of Engineering degree
\xef\x82\xb7 Fluency in English (both written and oral) with additional language skills a bonus
\xef\x82\xb7 Clear, concise communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail
