Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Appliance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will work independently in customers' homes or businesses, ensuring that appliances are functioning efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Diagnose issues with appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of appliances using appropriate tools and techniques. Assemble and install new appliances as needed. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in customers' homes or businesses. Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in appliance repair is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing appliances. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and understand electrical systems related to appliance operation. A valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
