Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver and Warehouse associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting major home appliances (refrigerators, ovens, washers, dryers etc.), to various locations near Brooks while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This part of the job constitutes about 40% of the duties. The remaining time will be spent with helping maintaining the warehouse, equipments and vehicles.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize forklifts or other equipment safely when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial driving is required. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as part of daily responsibilities. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
